| Gender Transitions is pleased to provide additional services to patients / clients. Transmen (Post scars from surgery and Phallus Tattooing) Transwomen / Post scars from a Vaginoplasty) and clients who want scars refined and the whiteness of a scar to be made less noticeable from medical grade pigments. Areola scars post Mastectomy or Bilateral Reduction. Mammoplasty are also treated to refine scars.Scar restoration is a microneedling procedure whereby we “repair” the scar using a medical grade hydration boost serum together with needling techniques. This encourages the collagen and melanocytes sitting within the deeper layers of the skin that naturally pigment the skin to come to the surface of the scar, improving skin texture and flexibility. Hypertrophic and Hypotrophic scars are treated. Two to three treatments are needed in most cases. Once the scars have taken on a more natural appearance we can use pigments to camouflage the skin.
